Provost of Fife Congratulates Levenmouth Academy's Scottish Champions

Provost of Fife, Jim Leishman visited Levenmouth Academy today to meet with our S1 Football Team, currently Scottish Champions.

Our S1 team were victorious in all rounds of the national plate competition to be crowned Scottish Champions.  Mr Maginnis (DHT) said "this is an incredible achievement for the young people of Levenmouth Academy, their families and this community.

Being the national champions when the school is only two and a half years old is a fantastic success, and we are grateful to Coach McLuskie for his drive and determination".

Mr Leishman gave our young people words of advice on how to train effectively, how to make good decisions on and off the field, and spoke of the importance of keeping your school values at the heart of all you do.

These young people represent the school's values of trust, respect, teamwork, ambition and responsibility and we are immensely proud of them.  Mr Leishman said "you are now the best team, the one everyone wants to beat".
