Parent Council Chair
My name is Phil Grant and I am the very proud current Chair of Levenmouth Academy Parent Council. My daughter is at Levenmouth Academy and I have been a Parent Council member since her enrolment in S1.
We are a very close enthusiastic parent group who are keen to assist the teaching staff on the schools path to continuous improvement.
Our vice chair is Tracy Young and our treasurer is Donald Young.
We have over time formed fantastic relationships with the Senior Leadership Team at Levenmouth Academy and the many Senior Pupils, School Staff and Local Councillors (Elected Members) who support our meetings.
We are currently looking at innovative ways to fundraise so that we can support activities which would not normally be funded within the schools budget. This has included buying invaluable equipment for our mental health awareness team. We have a newly formed easyfundraising page which raises money for parent council funds without costing you a penny. You can support our cause by clicking the link.
We are always seeking new members to come onto the council with fresh ideas and an appetite to take an active part in your child’s education.
If you would like to join us or indeed have any issues you would like to raise please feel free to contact me. I may not always have the answer but I will know where to direct your query if I don’t.
