    School Improvement

Below you will find links to view and download the Standards and Quality Report created by each department within the school. The purpose of these reports is to inform you what each department has achieved in the last year and how they link to both the school improvement plan as well as national strategies and frameworks.

Each Department has collaboratively produced a Standards and Quality Report which considers the key achievements against How Good is Our School 4.  These documents provide the departmental evidence for our School Standards and Quality Report. Please take some time to read these documents - and please get in touch if you require more information

This section sets Levenmouth Academy’s improvement priorities and agenda in a number of key contexts.

Local Policy and Improvement: Local Area Improvement Plan – this is a specific improvement plan for the Levenmouth area, and is reflective of and responsive to our area.

Education and Children’s Service Directorate Plan – This is the local authority’s Education Directorate plan 2017 – 2020

This is the local authority’s improvement agenda for all of Education and Children’s Services.  Our School Improvement Plan is closely linked to the overall authority aim of providing excellence and equity for all.

    What is the SEIC?

This is a place for education practitioners working in the City of Edinburgh, Midlothian, Fife, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders to share and learn from each other. Let’s see what we can accomplish together – ask questions, tell your stories or share your knowledge, skills and experience to create exciting ways to improve.

The South East Improvement Collaborative Plan is based on robust analysis of available data leading to prioritisation of our initial two areas of focus:

Work on these priorities is underpinned by further work to improve the implementation of GIRFEC across the Collaborative ensuring that key children’s services partners are contributing to the improvement in outcomes.

This is the National Improvement Framework set out by the Scottish Government which sets out the vision and priorities for Scottish education.
