Introduction to Nursing Event - September 2018

Following the success of previous events, S5 and S6 pupils who are considering a career in nursing or midwifery are invited to the Introduction to Nursing & Midwifery in NHS Fife events:

Monday 10th September 2018 at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy

Wednesday 19th September 2018 at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline 9.15am till 3.15pm

Pupils will have the opportunity to:

Learn more about the realities of being a nurse or midwife and hear about their diverse and varied professional journeys
Meet current students and ask questions about their experiences of applying to university and being on a programme of study to be a student nurse or midwife
Explore the qualities required of Registered Nurses and Midwives
Visit clinical wards and departments within the hospital

Please inform interested pupils to complete the attached application form and return it by Friday 31st August 2018 to secure a place. Confirmation of a place with full details of the event will be sent to all successful applicants. Early application is recommended as places are limited.
