Mr Russell's musings
This time of year sees the library support our senior phase pupils (exam candidates). For many young people it can be a stressful time and with librarians running a library at the heart of the school, the librarian can offer support, encouragement and understanding and empathy. I am a mentor to some young people and with my strong academic background, study skills and exam life can be discussed.
The library at Levenmouth Academy will be open for the first week of the Easter break for pupils to come in and study. Peace, and a room of resources (including cups of tea!) goes a little way to giving our young people every chance to succeed.
As librarian this is one of my proudest moments- they were coached by me!
