    Mr Russell's musings..

The Saltire Volunteers have taken over the library blog this week!!

The library has been excellent so far this year in one of its main purposes for seniors, an area perfect for study. Thursday night study support dedicated to senior study has been so helpful for many in anything ranging from revision to homework. Our library is staffed by Mr Russell our charted librarian.

Mr Russell, and his wide and extensive range of knowledge is able to help any pupil in any subject, furthermore perfect for helping with day to day advice (despite supporting Livingston F.C.!) and advice with helping UCAS students with their personal statements if we’re stuck.. The school’s Library has many textbooks and study guides to help as we close nearer to prelim exam time. We have been able to learn valuable library skills perfect for the future and also been able to put our spin on the library. Mr Russell’s mentoring programme is undoubtedly beneficial to these students setting them up for the future. Thank you Mr Russell!

Mr Russell’s reply: Keep on studying and working hard in all of your subjects. It’s always a pleasure to help our pupils in their learning.
